Care

Polymer clay and resin are generally durable, but handle and store with care to avoid breakage and scratches. Wipe clean with a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight.

Sterling silver and brass will naturally tarnish over time due to exposure to air, water, and oils.  Keep metal dry, avoid high humidity, avoid excessive handling, and store in an air-tight container to help prevent tarnish. Wipe with a polishing cloth to remove tarnish and restore shine. To restore texture on satin finished brass pieces, rub with a green Scotch-Brite scouring pad in a circular motion. Pieces may also be scrubbed clean with warm soapy water. Rinse and pat dry thoroughly.

Gold-filled pieces are not likely to tarnish. Clean with mild soapy water, rinse, and pat dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasives.
